Brain Tumour Support Fundraising Assistant


Part Time (21 hours)

We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible & enthusiastic Fundraising Assistant to join our team at Brain Tumour Support. The salary is £16.5k (full time equivalent).

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the administration function of the fundraising team and will support the Corporate & Community Fundraiser and Head of Fundraising in identifying and exploring new opportunities to expand and grow our fundraising income.

Main responsibilities include handling incoming donor enquiries, maintaining accurate donation records, distributing fundraising materials, researching fundraising prospects and offering general administrative assistance to the wider fundraising team.

Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise workloads, have a keen eye for detail, strong all round communication skills, and experience of working in a fast paced environment. Excellent IT skills including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as experience using databases is essential.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, however, applicants are welcomed from an administration background looking to move into a fundraising and charity environment.

WE ARE RECRUITING! Due to the expansion of our fabulous Razzamataz school we are looking for fantastic new teachers to join our team!

Razzamataz Theatre Schools Bristol North are currently seeking talented individuals to deliver our performing arts classes at our Saturday school. We are looking for assistants and experienced teachers of dance, singing and drama who are able to deliver creative, inspirational and fun classes to children aged between 4 and 18 years.

We are an award winning theatre school providing training in dance, drama and singing in both musical theatre and commercial styles to children aged 4-18years. We aim to develop a child's confidence while they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment.

The job role includes, but is not limited to

- Working as part of a team committed to providing high quality performing arts training
- Providing high energy, fun and educational performing arts classes
- Preparing weekly/termly lesson plans
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A natural affinity with children
- A passion for teaching dance

Teaching experience in performing arts is essential as is experience working with children. Full training will be provided.
