1st Woodend Scouts


1st Woodend Scout Group currently comprises just over 100 youngsters aged 6 to 14, in one Beaver Colony, two Cub Packs and two Scout Troops, all meeting in the Scout HQ, Talbots End, Cromhall, behind the Village Hall. Although most of our members live in Cromhall or Charfield, many travel in from the numerous surrounding villages.

Charfield Youth Project


Charfield Youth Project run weekly youth groups for young people, living in Charfield or within a 5 mile radius.
There's one for class years 6,7,8 and one for class years 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. We also run a Village Youth Council so that the youth of the village can help in shaping it's future! Get in touch!

Girlguiding Bristol and South Gloucestershire (BSG) is part of Girlguiding – the largest organisation for girls and young women in the UK. Our Guiding County is divided into 11 Divisions which includes the city centre, towns and villages.
We give girls a voice in the modern world, listen to their views and provide fun and friendship along the way.
