Annual Candlelight Service of Remembrance

This annual occasion is not a religious service and all are welcome to attend. We ask those hoping to come along to email us via the link below, so that we can best prepare.
All Souls Day is a time to remember loved ones, giving thanks for their lives and also for all that they brought to those around them while they were here.
The service will give space for these reflections, by the warm glow of candlelight. No amount of darkness can extinguish a candle’s light; it shines on regardless, banishing the gloom and illuminating our path just as those who have gone before us have brightened our way and guided our steps.
Outside the chapel at Memorial Woodlands, we can each (and together) remember all those who, while no longer with us now, loved, guided and nurtured us in their time, holding them in our hearts with love and gratitude.
The service will start promptly at 6.00pm, please be sure to arrive in good time.
