Swimming Festival

DB Max are running this event in place of (not at the same time as) our usual swimming/diving open sessions.
The organisers anticipate having no more participants entering their events over the 4 hours or so their event will run than we would usually have over the 2-3 full swimming and diving sessions that run here on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and the participants will be on-site here at the quarry as it's a swimming event and not a triathlon, meaning there should be no influx of cyclists on the roads around the site.
This will be a timed swimming 'festival', with several timed distance challenges over the afternoon. As a group of swimming events it has been advertised as a 'festival' as opposed to a race or race event. Though it's a series of timed events, there should be a mix of abilities and the final session (a 750m swim) could be a great opportunity for first time eventers to get a feel for timed swims and to benchmark themselves in support of any specific training etc.
