There is a real appetite to bring the Cromhall Flower Show back for 2022, which will be the 74th in its illustrious history.

But - and this is a big but…. the Committee desperately need NEW members to ensure its survival.

Many of the present team have worked on the show for a long time now and are contemplating their own involvement, which is quite understandable after the two years we have all experienced. I do fear that if NEW members do not join now, there will be no show in the future. The village is very different now to when I joined the committee, as we have more housing and a larger and more diverse population, so we should be in a really good position to bring new people into the committee. I would like to ask ALL villagers to consider if you could give up a small amount of your time to join the committee to secure this historical event's future?

To recruit new members, the Committee are organising a social evening (with complimentary drinks and nibbles provided) on the 3rd of March at 7pm at the Village Hall.

Here you can find out more about the show, the roles, the meetings (which are no more than 10 per annum) and ask any questions to see if it is a good fit for you. The Committee really would love to see as many of you there as possible and more importantly, sign up a good number of new members on the night as they will bring fresh energy, new ideas and new skills which is vital to the future of any committee.

The old saying has never been more true . . . ‘the Show must go on’, but for that to happen, the Committee needs new members!
