On Saturday 18th March we’ll be joined by an expert team for a very special event. There will be guided tours of the tree collection, a forest school arena and talks exploring the history of the Ducie family and their estate, bug hunts, entertainment from the gorgeous Island Folk Choir, stalls from local makers, fireside refreshments and a chance to get your hands dirty as we plant new specimens.
We’ll also be joined by the Social Tree Climbers. offering opportunities to see the arboretum on another level or, as they like to say, make friends in higher places! Climbing is suitable for anyone age 7+ of all agilities and abilities. So if you fancy getting into the canopy, add a tree climbing with your tickets below to secure your space! Online tickets £20, on the day tickets £25, so it’s worth booking ahead!
Directions: Please head to GL12 8HH on sat nav, towards the Tortworth Court Hotel. As you turn on to the driveway to the hotel, after a couple of passing places you will come to a green metal gate set back on the right hand side just before a stone building. Turn into this gate and park up.
