Learn new skills, meet new people and help restore this unique woodland.

We run monthly volunteer conservation days, using hand tools to restore the arboretum. If you enjoy working in the fresh air in stunning woodland surroundings, this is for you.

Work could include clearing bracken and bramble, chopping firewood, opening up pathways and cutting back overgrowth, and more. Volunteers are involved in deciding what work should be done and how we evolve the project.

Dates for 2021: Please note that we will keep checking the situation regarding Covid-19 and local restriction tiers, and that these dates are all dependent on being able to safely run volunteer days.

Directions: Please head to GL12 8HH on sat nav, towards the Tortworth Court Hotel. As you turn on to the driveway to the hotel, after a couple of passing places you will come to a green metal gate set back on the right hand side just before a stone building. Turn into this gate and park up.
