Cromhall Parish Plan will be a "Vision" for the future of Cromhall that encompasses the whole community's views, and therefore allows people to have a greater say in village life.
The plan will have a strong chance of being taken into account by local authorities in their decision-making processes.
It will also provide evidence of local needs, which will help to secure funding to make things happen.
Parish Plans are important – as well as being part of the national government strategy, they are actively promoted and supported by South Gloucestershire Council.
The comments above illustrate that they can make a real difference to towns and villages.
These are REAL examples of what has been achieved in neighbouring villages...
The process is expected to take around 12 months and is divided into phases.
Phase 1 – finished on 24th April 2013 - gave all residents opportunities to list their ideas and issues for the future of our village….
Phase 2 involves the fuller questionnaire. The results of this will be analysed and a Parish Plan brochure put together in 2015, along with action plans for items arising from the plan.
Look out for the ways that you can have your say.
Organisers plan to utilise as many local groups and local contacts as possible.
If you would like to help, then please get in touch via email: or drop your ideas into one of the Comments Boxes at locations around the village. (Church, School, Pub & Shop/P.O.)
